I-95 is approximately 1850 miles in length and for anyone driving long sections of the Interstate might need to take a break, fill up with Gas or grab something to eat.
I-95 like many Interstates has a good selection of rest areas, Service areas and Welcome centers along the way at regular intervals and below we will try and highlight the majority both north to south and vice versa.
Rest Areas – These are commonly directly at the side of the interstate and include picnic areas and Toilets. Some also have BBQ pits available, sheltered seating areas, dog walking zones and vending facilities.
Service Areas – Often located at major junctions or in the center of the highway these commonly include Gas stations and restaurants like McDonald’s etc.
Welcome Centers – With similar facilities as rest areas these are slightly larger, located just after entering a state and include often staffed tourism offices.
Format: Mile Marker – RA = Rest Area, SA = Service Area
Remember : Mile Markers always start from the southern state border and start over in each state.
