About: Heathrow Airport is the largest international airport in the UK, Based just outside of London it serves over 73 million passengers every year and currently stands as the third busiest airport in the world ranked by passenger numbers.

Location: The airport is conveniently located west of london directly beside the M25 on the junction with the M4 allowing easy accsess from both London, the west of England and most southern, central and eastern counties.

Terminals: There are currently five terminals at Heathrow however only four are used by passengers, Terminals 2,3,4 and 5 are the main passenger terminals with terminal 1 no longer in use, the site of terminal 1 will soon form part of the expansion of terminal 2. Terminal 5 is exclusively for flights operated by or code shared with British Airways.

Destinations: Flights to over 170 destinations are available directly from Heathrow. Destinations both domestic and internationally depart from the airport and flights to most major international airports are available on multiple airlines several times a day.

Airlines: Heathrow currently acts as the main hub and home of British Airways ( BA ) and is the UK base for Virgin Atlantic.

Parking: There are many car parks available and whilst there are numerous on site car parks operated by the airport there are many offsite car parks which offer regular inclusive transport to and from the terminals.

Shopping and Dinning: All terminals have a large selection of shops and restaurants on offer both before and after security. The usual fair of Duty free and many major high street retailers are represented.

Transport: Heathrow is easily accessible by road and rail and regular bus services also operate from most major towns in the surrounding area. Serving London there are direct rail links and the M4 motorway offers a direct driving route into the city.
